Ukraine Reports Significant Russian Military Losses in Ongoing Conflict

As of April 18, the Ukrainian General Staff has reported that Russian military casualties have reached approximately 1,317,150 since the onset of the full-scale invasion on February 24. In just one day, Russian forces lost 1,080 soldiers.

The report details substantial losses in military equipment as well, including:

  • Armored fighting vehicles: 24,410 (an increase of 10)
  • Artillery systems: 40,242 (an increase of 82)
  • Multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS): 1,743 (an increase of 4)
  • Anti-aircraft systems: 1,349 (no change)
  • Aircraft: 435 (no change)
  • Helicopters: 350 (no change)
  • Operational-tactical drones: 245,112 (an increase of 2,104)
  • Cruise missiles: 4,549 (no change)
  • Ships/boats: 33 (no change)
  • Submarines: 2 (no change)
  • Vehicles and fuel tankers: 90,194 (an increase of 180)
  • Specialized equipment: 4,129 (no change)

These figures are subject to updates as the situation evolves.

The Ukrainian military has reported significant losses for Russian forces, with over 1,317,000 troops estimated lost since February. Daily losses continue to mount, alongside substantial equipment casualties across various categories.
