Russia Reinforces Air Defense Systems in Moscow and Kerch Area Amidst Decreased Protection Elsewhere

Russia is reallocating its air defense systems to Moscow and the Kerch Bridge area, significantly reducing defenses in other regions. This information was revealed by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, citing intelligence reports.

Zelensky stated that Ukrainian intelligence has obtained internal Russian documents that assess the impact of Ukrainian long-range strikes. These documents reportedly outline the measures being taken by Russian leadership in response to these attacks.

According to Zelensky, one of the primary actions taken by Russia involves moving air defense systems from various Russian regions to bolster defenses in Moscow and around the Kerch Bridge. He emphasized that these two areas have been prioritized for protection, leading to a weakening of defenses in other territories, including temporarily occupied regions of Ukraine.

In addition to discussing air defense reallocations, Zelensky received a report on the status of Russian missile production and strategic aviation capabilities. He indicated that Ukraine is preparing new responses to ongoing military actions and strikes on its territory.

Furthermore, Zelensky highlighted that Ukraine has already made diplomatic proposals and attributed the prolongation of the conflict to the actions of the Russian government.

Ukrainian President Zelensky reports that Russia is shifting air defense resources to Moscow and the Kerch Bridge, compromising defenses in other areas. This strategic move comes in response to Ukrainian long-range strikes, as outlined in internal Russian documents obtained by Ukrainian intelligence.
