Ukrainian Forces Report 213 Clashes with Russian Troops in Recent Combat Operations

On June 21, the Ukrainian General Staff reported a total of 213 combat engagements with Russian forces over the previous day, with the highest level of activity observed in the Pokrovsk direction, where Ukrainian defenders repelled 33 attacks.

According to the operational update from the General Staff, Russian troops conducted one missile strike using two missiles and launched 85 airstrikes, deploying 267 guided aerial bombs. Additionally, there were 10,489 drone attacks and 3,030 shelling incidents targeting populated areas and Ukrainian military positions.

In the Sumy region, airstrikes impacted the areas around Tovstodubove and Sumy.

The majority of assaults were concentrated in the Pokrovsk direction, where Ukrainian forces successfully halted 33 offensive actions by Russian troops in the regions of Novomykolaivka, Hryshyne, Bilitske, Kucherovyi Yar, Shakhove, Novopavlivka, Filyia, Vylne, Novooleksandrivka, Shevchenka, Kotlyne, Udaine, Toretske, Dorožne, Rodynske, Novohryshyne, Hulevyi, Myrne, and Serhiivka.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, Russian forces attempted to advance twice, specifically in the areas of Piddubne and Ternove.

In the Huliaipole direction, Russian troops launched 23 attacks in the regions of Tsvitkove, Vysheterse, Novoselivka, Dobropillia, Rybnoye, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Hirke, Vozdvizhivka, Olenokostyantynivka, and Charivne.

In the Lyman direction, 21 attacks were recorded in the areas of Druzhliubivka, Yampil, Shyikivka, Olhivka, Novoselivka, Drobysheve, Derylove, and Lyman.

Russian forces conducted 14 attacks in the Sloviansk direction, 11 in the Kostiantynivka direction, and 10 in the South Slobozhanske direction.

In the Kupiansk direction, there were three attacks aimed at Kivsharivka, Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi, and Novoplatonivka.

In the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian forces thwarted two attempts to advance in the areas of Kamyanske and Stepnohirske.

No active operations were reported in the Dniprovsk direction.

Meanwhile, in the Volyn and Polissia directions, no signs of Russian troop formations for offensive operations were detected.

Over the past day, Ukrainian aviation, missile forces, and artillery targeted 18 areas where Russian troops were concentrated, as well as one artillery system.

The total losses for Russia in the past day amounted to 1,290 personnel. Ukrainian forces also neutralized eight tanks, ten armored fighting vehicles, 93 artillery systems, two multiple launch rocket systems, two air defense systems, eight ground robotic complexes, 2,346 drones, 475 vehicles, and two units of specialized equipment.

The Ukrainian General Staff reported significant combat activity, with 213 clashes and substantial Russian losses. The Pokrovsk direction saw the most intense engagements, highlighting ongoing military operations in the region.
