Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has confirmed that Ukraine will attend the NATO summit scheduled for July 7 and 8 in Ankara, Turkey. However, the specifics of Ukraine’s participation are still under discussion.
During a joint press conference with Moldovan President Maia Sandu in Kyiv on April 26, Zelensky addressed questions from journalists regarding the summit. He emphasized that while the details of Ukraine’s representation remain uncertain, the country will definitely be present at the event.
“Regarding the NATO summit, Ukraine will be represented at the NATO summit in Turkey. How? In what format? Who? It is still too early to say,” the president stated.
The upcoming NATO summit will take place at the presidential complex in Beştepe, marking the second time Turkey has hosted such an event, the first being in Istanbul in 2004.
