Ukraine and Jordan Discuss Security Partnership Amid Regional Tensions

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky recently met with King Abdullah II of Jordan to explore potential security cooperation. Zelensky emphasized the necessity of mutual assistance in addressing security challenges.

Following the meeting, Zelensky stated, “Ukraine is open to collaborative efforts to defend against drone and missile attacks. From our own experience, it is clear that without a unified system, it is impossible to ensure comprehensive protection for people and critical infrastructure.”

The president highlighted Ukraine’s capabilities in countering hostile strikes, particularly those involving Iranian drones. He remarked, “It is crucial that those to whom we offer our expertise can also assist us in strengthening our defenses.” Zelensky expressed gratitude to King Abdullah II for his willingness to engage in dialogue.
