Ukrainian Currency Market Update: Dollar Declines While Euro Rises

On April 15, the Ukrainian currency market exhibited mixed trends. While the cash dollar saw a slight decrease in value, the euro continued its upward trajectory, gaining an average of 25 kopecks compared to the previous day.

Key Highlights:

  • Dollar Exchange Rate: The average purchase price stands at 43.60 UAH.
  • Euro Exchange Rate: The currency has noticeably increased to 51.40 UAH for sale.
  • Banking Sector: In contrast to exchange offices, banks have raised the dollar rate to an average of 43.79 UAH.
  • Card Rates: The most favorable dollar selling rate among popular banks is currently at PrivatBank (43.70 UAH in branches), while the highest rate is at PUMB and Oschadbank (up to 43.90 UAH).

According to data from the Minfin portal, as of the morning of April 15, the average dollar exchange rate in exchange offices is 43.60 UAH (-5 kopecks) for purchase and 43.50 UAH for sale.

The euro can be purchased at an average rate of 51.40 UAH (+25 kopecks) and sold for 51.18 UAH (+28 kopecks).

Bank Currency Rates:

The average dollar exchange rate in banks today remains at 43.79 UAH (+6 kopecks) for purchase, while the selling rate is 43.30 UAH (+5 kopecks).

The euro can be bought in banks for 51.45 UAH (+25 kopecks) and sold for 50.75 UAH (+15 kopecks).

PrivatBank is currently selling dollars for 43.70 UAH at branches and 43.85 UAH for card purchases. The euro can be bought at PrivatBank for 51.70 UAH in cash, while the non-cash rate is 51.81 UAH.

Oschadbank offers dollars at a rate of 43.75 UAH in its mobile application and 43.90 UAH for card transactions. The euro can be purchased for 51.65 UAH in the mobile app and 51.85 UAH for card payments.

At PUMB, the dollar is priced at 43.90 UAH in branches and 43.70 UAH for cards. The euro can be bought for 51.70 UAH today.

Monobank sells dollars for 43.85 UAH and euros for 51.75 UAH.
