Russian Forces Face Critical Shortage of Boats in Dnipro Delta

Russian military operations in the Dnipro delta region of Kherson are reportedly hampered by a significant shortage of boats, impacting their ability to advance. Sources indicate that the lack of watercraft has become a critical issue for occupying forces.

An agent from the 70th Motor Rifle Division, part of the 18th Combined Arms Army, disclosed that the number of fast boats in the area has dwindled, largely due to ongoing Ukrainian drone strikes that have targeted these vessels. The agent noted that there has been no replenishment of boats to support operations.

“The command is pretending that everything is under control. In reality, there are almost no boats left; every outing on the water is now a gamble,” the source stated.

According to reports from the ATEH movement, the islands in the Dnipro delta are effectively isolated. This isolation has made the transportation of personnel and ammunition across the waterways a daily risk, lacking both cover and reserves.

“Rotation has stalled, and supplies are failing. Those stranded at their positions have been waiting for weeks for a change. Some of the remaining boats are breaking down for reasons that the command prefers not to disclose, attributing failures to wear and poor maintenance,” the publication noted.

In conclusion, the partisan movement indicated that they have relayed additional information to the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

Russian forces in the Dnipro delta are struggling with a severe shortage of boats, affecting their military operations. The situation has led to stalled rotations and supply issues, with personnel facing increased risks during transport.
