The 70th Eurovision Song Contest concluded in Vienna, with Bulgaria emerging as the winner. The Bulgarian entry, performed by DARA, captivated audiences with the song “Bangaranga.” This year’s event featured a diverse lineup of 15 countries competing in the final.
Ukraine, represented by Leléka with the song “Ridnym,” secured a ninth-place finish. Other finalists included Albania, Australia, Denmark, Malta, Cyprus, Norway, the Czech Republic, and Romania. Notably, Latvia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Luxembourg, and Switzerland did not qualify for the final.
The first semi-final took place on May 12, with Belgium, Croatia, Finland, Greece, Israel, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Serbia, and Sweden advancing to the final from that round.
Finalists were determined through a combination of jury evaluations and audience voting from participating countries in the semi-finals, as well as votes from two of the founding countries: France, Italy, the United Kingdom, and Germany.
