Cold Weather and Rain Expected Across Ukraine Next Week

Ukrainians should prepare for a significant drop in temperatures and widespread rain as the week progresses. The forecast indicates chilly and damp conditions nationwide, with nighttime temperatures potentially dipping below freezing.

Starting on April 20, rain is expected to sweep across the right bank of the Dnieper River, with some areas experiencing heavy downpours. Daytime temperatures will generally fall to between +7°C and +10°C, while the southern regions may see slightly warmer conditions ranging from +10°C to +15°C.

On Tuesday, the rain will shift towards the south and southeast, where temperatures will decrease to around +11°C to +13°C. The western parts of the country might see some light rain, but the rest will remain dry, albeit cool, with temperatures hovering between +7°C and +10°C. In the east, temperatures could drop to as low as +6°C to +8°C.

Wednesday, April 22, will bring a brief improvement in weather, with dry conditions and variable cloudiness expected across the country. Temperatures will rise slightly to around +11°C to +13°C.

However, by midweek, on April 23, clouds will return, bringing more rain. Only the southern and eastern regions are likely to remain mostly dry, with temperatures ranging from +10°C to +13°C, while areas in the south and Zakarpattia region could see highs of +14°C to +15°C.

As the weekend approaches, rain will return across Ukraine, accompanied by a further drop in temperatures. The coldest conditions are anticipated in the north and northeast, where daytime highs will only reach +6°C to +9°C, and nighttime temperatures could plummet to -1°C. In the western and central regions, temperatures will range from +8°C to +10°C, while the south and east may see highs of up to +12°C.

Unfortunately, the weekend is not expected to bring any relief, with temperatures remaining low. Only the east will experience slightly warmer conditions, with highs of +10°C to +12°C. The rest of the country can expect cold weather, intermittent rain, and even the possibility of wet snow, with temperatures ranging from +3°C to +7°C.

Ukraine is set to experience a significant drop in temperatures and rain throughout the upcoming week, with nighttime freezes expected. The weather will remain cold and wet, particularly in the northern and central regions, while the southern areas may see slightly milder conditions.
