Zelensky Meets Slovak PM Fico at European Political Community Summit

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico in Yerevan during the European Political Community summit. The discussions centered on enhancing cooperation across various sectors.

Zelensky reported on social media that both leaders agreed to arrange a government meeting through an intergovernmental commission soon. They also discussed potential visits to Kyiv and Bratislava, with plans for their teams to coordinate schedules.

Additionally, Zelensky emphasized Ukraine’s openness to constructive dialogue with Slovakia and expressed a desire to strengthen bilateral relations. He noted Slovakia’s support for Ukraine’s European Union membership aspirations, thanking Fico for the backing.

Prior to this meeting, Zelensky had discussions with Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo and Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre during his visit to Armenia.
