Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has expressed optimism about the country’s economic prospects following the end of the ongoing conflict. Speaking to Ukrainian youth abroad during the “Home is Better” event, he emphasized that those who remain in Ukraine will have greater opportunities to establish and grow their businesses.
“The war will end, and those who were here will have more chances to start their own ventures,” Zelensky stated. He highlighted the importance of investment during challenging times, noting that investing in knowledge and personal projects can yield significant returns in the future.
Zelensky outlined that the reconstruction of Ukraine, the return of investments, and the nation’s path toward European Union membership will create new market opportunities. He asserted, “Ukraine will legally be part of the European Union. Markets will be open. This is a hundred percent guarantee.” He urged Ukrainians living abroad to return to their homeland, adding, “If you can’t come back, please call and support your loved ones.”
President Zelensky has shared a vision of economic growth for Ukraine after the war, encouraging citizens to invest in their futures. He affirmed the country's commitment to EU membership, which he believes will open new markets and opportunities.
