Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has emphasized the need for enhanced international political and economic pressure on Russia to achieve genuine security and end the ongoing conflict. His remarks come as recovery efforts continue in Dnipro following a recent drone strike.
The attack, which occurred on May 31, targeted a logistics facility operated by Nova Poshta, igniting a fire that spread to nearby parked vehicles. Zelensky stated, “All these strikes must be stopped. We need sufficient support for our defense and continued pressure on Russia. Our long-range sanctions, those from our partners, and all forms of political and economic pressure on Russia must work to achieve real security. Only pressure will lead to peace.”
As recovery operations progress, it has been confirmed that the first branch of Nova Poshta was completely destroyed in the attack, but fortunately, no employees were injured. Dnipro’s Mayor Boris Filatov reported that residential areas in the city remained unharmed.
President Zelensky has called for stronger international measures against Russia while recovery efforts are underway in Dnipro after a drone attack. The assault resulted in significant damage but no injuries were reported among the staff.
