On April 19, Ukrainian forces launched a missile strike on the Russian drone manufacturing facility, Atlant Aero, located in Taganrog, Rostov Oblast. The attack utilized Neptune cruise missiles, resulting in the destruction of two production buildings and damage to four others.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that this strike will significantly hinder the enemy’s capability to conduct attacks on civilian targets within Ukraine. Following the strike, a fire was reported at the site, as confirmed by local authorities.
Additionally, on April 22, Ukrainian military sources confirmed damage to the combat bridge of a patrol ship belonging to the Russian Federal Security Service’s Border Guard, designated as Project 22460, near Sevastopol in Crimea.
Atlant Aero has previously been targeted in attacks in January and March 2026. Since the onset of Russia’s full-scale invasion, various military and industrial sites across Russia and occupied territories have been subjected to airstrikes. The Ukrainian General Staff has stated that these operations are part of a systematic approach to diminish the combat capabilities of Russian occupying forces and to compel Russia to cease its armed aggression against Ukraine.
Ukrainian missile strikes have targeted the Atlant Aero drone factory in Russia, damaging key infrastructure and impacting military capabilities. Additional damage was inflicted on a Russian patrol ship in Crimea, highlighting ongoing military operations against Russian assets.
