The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has reported an attack on the “Vtorovo” linear production dispatch station located in Russia’s Vladimir region. This operation was carried out by specialists from the SBU’s Alpha Special Operations Center, as part of directives issued by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
The SBU described the station as a crucial node in Russia’s main oil product pipeline system, responsible for transporting fuel, including diesel, to both domestic consumers and export ports. Additionally, it supplies fuel to major oil depots around Moscow and key airports such as Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo, and Vnukovo.
According to the SBU, the drone strike resulted in a significant fire covering approximately 800 square meters at the facility.
The agency emphasized that Ukraine targets only military and strategic sites that facilitate Russian aggression, contrasting this with Russia’s reported attacks on civilian infrastructure.
“The SBU is already preparing new special operations. The intensity of Ukraine’s strikes on Russian territory will only increase. Our long-range sanctions will continue to be effective,” stated Yevhenii Khmara, head of the Security Service of Ukraine.
The Ukrainian Security Service has confirmed a drone strike on a significant fuel station in Russia, claiming it as part of its military strategy. The operation underscores Ukraine's focus on targeting strategic sites while contrasting its actions with those of Russia regarding civilian infrastructure.
