The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has revised its daily reporting on the losses of Russian troops, introducing a new category for tracking military equipment. This change was announced on the General Staff’s official Facebook page.
Starting May 3, the daily statistics detailing losses among Russian occupying forces will include a separate entry for “ground robotic systems.” This update aims to enhance the accuracy of enemy loss assessments by incorporating modern warfare technologies, particularly the robotic systems actively deployed on the front lines.
As of the morning of May 2, Ukrainian military officials reported that Russian forces had lost a total of 1,294 ground robotic systems. Additionally, on the previous day, the Russian army experienced casualties of 1,240 personnel. The Ukrainian Defense Forces also reported the destruction of 3 tanks, 4 armored combat vehicles, 73 artillery systems, 6 multiple rocket launchers, 2,305 drones, 265 vehicles, and 1 piece of specialized equipment belonging to the invaders.
