The Ukrainian military intelligence agency has released a detailed interactive 3D model along with information on 103 companies involved in the production of Russia’s multi-role Su-57 fighter jets. This announcement was made by the press service of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense.
Identified companies include:
- Red October, a St. Petersburg-based company that manufactures auxiliary power units and gas turbine engines for the Su-57;
- The Russian National Institute of Aviation Technologies, which is engaged in the development of the aircraft’s multifunctional cockpit glazing;
- The Institute of Theoretical and Applied Electrodynamics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, responsible for the development and application of radar-absorbing coatings on aircraft components;
- YAZ Aviation, a manufacturer of aviation tires specifically for the Su-57 fighters.
According to the intelligence report, nearly a third of these identified companies currently operate without restrictions from any member of the sanctions coalition. This situation allows them continued access to foreign technologies and components essential for the advancement of Russian military aviation.
Previously, the Main Intelligence Directorate had also published data on 50 units of foreign equipment utilized by Russian shipbuilding and repair yards for the maintenance and construction of the Russian fleet.
Ukrainian military intelligence has disclosed vital information about companies supporting the production of Russia's Su-57 fighter jets, revealing that many are still free from sanctions. This allows them to maintain access to critical technologies for military aviation.
