Ukrainian Forces Target Russian Military Assets in Deep Rear Operations

This week, Ukrainian defense forces successfully struck various Russian military assets, including air defense systems, aircraft, ships, and oil infrastructure located deep within Russian territory. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy shared footage of these operations, highlighting the strategic significance of the attacks.

Among the targets hit were a Be-200 amphibious aircraft, a Ka-27 helicopter, a cargo ship carrying munitions, and several advanced military systems, including the Pantsir-S1 air defense system, the Tor missile system, and the Redut-2US communication complex. Additionally, several Russian drones were also reported destroyed.

Zelenskyy emphasized the long-range capabilities of Ukraine’s strikes, noting that some targets were nearly 1,000 kilometers from the front lines. He characterized these actions as justified responses to ongoing Russian military activities and indicated a commitment to increasing the range and frequency of such operations. The President expressed gratitude to the Ukrainian armed forces and intelligence services for their precision in executing these missions.
