In a recent escalation of hostilities, Ukrainian forces reported engaging in 153 combat encounters over the past day, with the most intense fighting occurring in the Pokrovsk direction. Here, defenders successfully thwarted 28 assaults from Russian troops, while 19 attacks were recorded in the Kostiantynivka area.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions saw one airstrike, which included the deployment of a guided bomb. Additionally, Russian forces conducted 84 shelling operations targeting both military positions and civilian areas, utilizing multiple rocket launch systems in two instances. Two ground assaults were also noted.
In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, Russian troops made three attempts to breach Ukrainian defenses near the settlements of Starytsia and Vovchansk. Meanwhile, in the Kupiansk direction, four attacks were reported around Novoplatonivka and the areas of Petropavlivka and Pishchane.
The Lyman direction experienced seven assaults as the enemy attempted to penetrate defenses near Drobysheve and in the vicinity of Lyman, Stavky, and Novoserhiivka. In the Sloviansk direction, Ukrainian defenders successfully halted three attempts by Russian forces to advance toward Yampol and Rai-Oleksandrivka.
Further attacks were noted in the Kramatorsk direction, where four assaults targeted positions in Nykiforivka, Min’kivka, and the area approaching Mykolaivka. The Kostiantynivka direction saw 19 assaults in regions including Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiyivka, Illinivka, Sofiyivka, and toward Novopavlivka and Stepaniivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, defenders managed to repel 28 aggressive maneuvers by the enemy across various settlements, including Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Novooleksandrivka, Pokrovsk, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, and Udačne, as well as in the direction of Shevchenko, Bilitske, Novopavlivka, and Novopidhorodne.
On the Oleksandrivka front, Russian forces conducted seven attacks targeting Kalynivske, Verbove, and Oleksandrovhrad. The Hulyaipole direction saw 12 assaults aimed at settlements including Sviatopetrivka, Staroukrainka, Zaliznychnye, Olenokostyantynivka, Hulyaipilske, and in the vicinity of Varvarivka, Pryliuky, and Tsvitkove.
In the Orikhiv direction, no active operations were reported from the enemy. Similarly, in the Dnipro direction, three unsuccessful assault attempts were made toward the Antonivsky Bridge.
On the Volyn and Polissya fronts, no signs of enemy offensive group formations have been detected. Ukrainian forces continue to mount effective resistance across all fronts.
