Ukraine Strikes Key Russian Facilities Amid Ongoing Conflict

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed on June 14 that Ukrainian forces successfully targeted a significant oil facility in the Yaroslavl region and the “Azot” plant in Tula, Russia, which is linked to explosive production.

In a message shared via Telegram, Zelensky stated,

“Our soldiers have achieved good results in applying long-range strikes on critical facilities within Russia and temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.”

According to Zelensky, drones operated by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) effectively hit the oil facility, which plays a strategic role in Russia’s reserves and is located over 700 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.

The president also reported that the strikes extended to Tula, targeting the “Azot” plant, which is vital for Russia’s explosive manufacturing capabilities. Additionally, Ukrainian forces struck military logistics sites of the Russian army in occupied Ukrainian territories.

Simultaneously, restrictions on air traffic were imposed at six Russian airports, while air raid alerts were declared across 28 regions of Russia since the previous evening.

Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine is executing its plan for long-range strikes against Russia, stating,

“We have offered the Russian leadership all possible negotiation formats, and the response has only been continued aggression and attempts to escalate. Logically, the war is returning to where it began. Ukraine needs peace. Glory to Ukraine!”

Further updates on this developing situation are expected.

Ukrainian forces have successfully targeted key Russian facilities, including an oil site and an explosive production plant, as part of ongoing military operations. President Zelensky reiterated Ukraine's commitment to long-range strikes in response to continued aggression from Russia.
