Ukraine Reports Significant Russian Military Losses in Ongoing Conflict

As of May 3, Ukrainian military officials report that Russian forces have suffered substantial casualties since the onset of the full-scale invasion on February 24, with total losses estimated at approximately 1,334,030 personnel.

In the latest update, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine indicated that Russian troops lost 1,080 soldiers in just one day.

  • tactical drones – 269,813 (an increase of 2,224)
  • ground robotic systems – 1,306 (an increase of 12)
  • naval vessels – 33 (no change)
  • submarines – 2 (no change)
  • vehicles and fuel tankers – 93,556 (an increase of 282)
  • specialized equipment – 4,151 (no change)
  • cruise missiles – 4,579 (no change).

These figures reflect ongoing hostilities and the evolving nature of the conflict, with updates expected as the situation develops.

Ukrainian military sources report significant Russian losses, with over 1.3 million personnel casualties since February 24. The latest figures also reveal substantial equipment losses, including thousands of tanks and drones.
