Trump and Zelensky to Attend G7 Summit in France

U.S. President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky are set to participate in a working session of the G7 group in Évian-les-Bains, France, from June 15 to June 17. This information was reported by a correspondent from Suspilne.

According to senior officials from the U.S. administration, Trump is expected to arrive in France on Monday and will meet with French President Emmanuel Macron later that evening.

On June 16, Trump will engage in a working session with other G7 leaders, including Zelensky. While there is a possibility of an informal meeting between the two presidents, no formal bilateral meeting is currently scheduled.

“We want the war to end as soon as possible. This is a priority for President Trump, one of his main priorities,” stated a White House official on the condition of anonymity during a call with reporters.

Additionally, it was revealed that Macron has invited leaders from the Middle East and President Zelensky to the G7 summit in the French resort town.
