On Saturday, the Dnipropetrovsk region of Ukraine experienced a series of attacks by Russian forces, resulting in injuries to six civilians, including a child. The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Hanzha, confirmed the incidents, noting that over 40 assaults were carried out using drones and artillery across five districts.
The Nikopol district was particularly affected, with strikes reported in the town center and the communities of Marhanets, Pokrovsk, and Chervonohryhorivka. Damage included significant destruction to both residential buildings and vehicles, leading to injuries among the local population.
Among the injured were four individuals, including a 16-year-old boy who was hospitalized in moderate condition. Two men aged 18 and 39, along with a 45-year-old woman, are receiving outpatient care.
In addition to the attacks in Nikopol, strikes were also reported in the Pishchanska community within the Samariivka district. Here, private homes and infrastructure sustained damage, and two elderly residents, a 73-year-old woman and an 86-year-old man, were injured but are expected to recover at home.
The recent Russian attacks in the Dnipropetrovsk region have resulted in multiple civilian injuries and significant property damage. Local authorities continue to assess the impact of these assaults on the affected communities.
