On June 8, Russian drones targeted vehicles and civilians in several communities within the Sumy region of Ukraine, resulting in three individuals sustaining serious injuries.
According to Oleg Hryhorov, the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, an attack in the Hlukhiv community involved a drone strike on a vehicle, leading to the hospitalization of four people. A 51-year-old man is reported to be in critical condition.
In a separate incident in the Khutir-Mykhailivskyi community, a 56-year-old man also suffered severe injuries from a drone attack. Additionally, a 41-year-old woman remains in serious condition following a strike in Konotop.
“All injured individuals are receiving the necessary specialized medical care. We wish them a speedy recovery,” said Hryhorov.
This incident follows a previous attack on June 4, when a Russian drone struck a residential area in Konotop, injuring five people, including three children.
