Intense Combat Continues in Ukraine: Daily Military Report

On June 7, the Ukrainian General Staff reported a significant increase in military engagements, with 223 clashes recorded in a single day. The most intense fighting occurred in the Pokrovsk, Kostiantynivka, and Huliaipole directions, resulting in substantial losses for Russian forces.

According to the report, Russian military operations included 93 airstrikes, during which 269 guided bombs were deployed. Additionally, 9,928 kamikaze drones were utilized, alongside 3,204 artillery strikes targeting both civilian areas and Ukrainian military positions, with 45 of these attacks executed using multiple launch rocket systems.

“In the past 24 hours, the enemy has conducted extensive aerial assaults, particularly in the areas of Vorožba, Pyharivka, and Vilna Sloboda in the Sumy region,” stated the General Staff.

Ukrainian defense forces successfully targeted three locations where Russian troops were concentrated, along with two artillery systems and eight drone command points.

Current Frontline Situation

In the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, four clashes occurred, with Russian forces conducting 78 artillery strikes against defensive positions and populated areas.

In the South Slobozhansky direction, Russian units attempted to storm Ukrainian positions near Starytsia, Lyman, Vovchansk, and Okhrimivka on five occasions.

In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled three attacks near Novoplatonivka, Pishchane, and Kupiansk.

Ukrainian troops successfully defended against ten Russian advances in the Lyman direction, particularly around Novoselivka, Druzhliubivka, Ozerne, Stavky, and Drobysheve.

In the Sloviansk direction, eight Russian attacks were thwarted in the areas of Rai-Oleksandrivka, Riznykivka, Kryvyi Rih, and Zakitne.

One attack by Russian forces was recorded in the Kramatorsk direction near Chasiv Yar.

In the Kostiantynivka direction, Russian military units launched 17 assaults in the vicinity of Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Pleschiivka, Rusynovyi Yar, and Illinivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian forces successfully repelled 46 assaults across various locations, including Toretske, Sofiivka, Kucherovyi Yar, Bilitske, Matyashieve, Vasylivka, Dorožne, Vylne, Novyi Donbas, Zapovidne, Novooleksandrivka, Rodynske, Shevchenka, Hryshyne, Serhiivka, Kotlyne, Novopavlivka, and Udačne.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, Russian forces attempted ten attacks in areas such as Voronoe, Oleksandrhrad, Voskresenka, Sychneve, Hrushivske, Verbove, and Ternove.

The Huliaipole direction saw 28 Russian military assaults near Dobropillia, Vozdvizhivka, Zaliznychne, Olenokostiantynivka, Staroukrianka, Huliaipole, Rybne, Pryliuky, Rizdviana, Verkhnia Tersa, Tsvitkove, and Charivne.

In the Orikhiv direction, Russian troops attempted to advance three times near Shcherbaky.

Two clashes occurred in the Dnipro direction near the Antonivskyi Bridge and Bilohrudyi Island.

No signs of Russian offensive group formations were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.

Russian Military Losses

During the past day, Russian military losses were reported at 1,350 personnel. Ukrainian forces also destroyed six tanks, four armored fighting vehicles, 82 artillery systems, seven multiple launch rocket systems, two air defense systems, ten ground robotic complexes, 2,245 drones, 393 vehicles, and four units of specialized equipment.
