Intense Combat Activity Reported on Eastern Frontlines

As of June 15, the Ukrainian military reported a significant increase in combat engagements, with 192 clashes occurring since the start of the day. The Pokrovsk direction saw the highest number of assaults, totaling 22.

According to the latest update from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russian forces launched a substantial attack, utilizing 70 missiles and conducting 58 airstrikes, which included dropping 157 guided bombs. Additionally, they deployed 6,222 kamikaze drones and executed 2,085 shelling incidents targeting both civilian areas and military positions.

Combat actions were recorded across various regions. In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, three assaults were noted. The Southern Slobozhansky area experienced six, while the Kupiansk direction had one. The Lyman and Slovyansk regions saw 16 and 10 assaults, respectively. In the Kostiantynivka direction, there were 10 assaults, and the Pokrovsk area faced the most intense activity with 22 assaults. Other notable engagements included three in the Oleksandrivka area, 16 in Huliaipole, five in Orikhiv, and one in the Dnipro region.

The Ukrainian military has reported a dramatic escalation in combat activity on the eastern front, with hundreds of clashes and extensive use of missiles and drones by Russian forces. The situation remains critical, particularly in the Pokrovsk direction, which has seen the highest concentration of assaults.
