The Rostov region of Russia experienced a series of drone attacks overnight, resulting in significant damage to port infrastructure in the city of Taganrog. Reports indicate that a tanker and a fuel reservoir caught fire as a result of the strikes.

Regional Governor Yuri Slyusar confirmed the incidents via Telegram, stating that Russian air defense forces intercepted several drones over Taganrog, as well as in the Chortkiv, Matveyevo-Kurgan, and Neklin districts.

In Taganrog, Slyusar reported that two individuals sustained injuries due to drone debris striking a private residence. The attack also ignited a tanker and a fuel reservoir at the city’s port, along with damage to an administrative building.

Additionally, in the village of Grekovo-Timofiyevka in the Matveyevo-Kurgan district, drone wreckage reportedly caused a gas pipeline fire within a residential structure, damaging the roof and windows.

Slyusar noted that air defense units claimed to have destroyed nearly fifty drones over the region during the night of May 30.

In a related incident, the city administration of Armavir in the Krasnodar region reported a drone attack that led to a fire at a local oil depot owned by the Southern Oil Company. Firefighters later announced that they had successfully contained the blaze.
