A series of drone attacks targeted the Shostka community in the Sumy region late last night, prompting a swift response from defense forces who managed to intercept some of the incoming drones.
According to local authorities, the assault resulted in damage to various civilian infrastructure, including residential and non-residential buildings as well as administrative facilities and transportation networks.
“Efforts to address the aftermath of the attack have been ongoing since the early hours. All necessary services are on-site providing assistance to those affected. The extent of the damage is currently being assessed,” stated the head of the Sumy Regional State Administration.
The Shostka community in the Sumy region experienced drone strikes overnight, leading to significant damage to infrastructure. Local authorities are actively managing the aftermath and assessing the situation.
