On April 14, a drone strike in the Central district of Kherson resulted in injuries to several individuals, including hospital staff and a local resident. The attack occurred around 9:00 AM when Russian forces targeted a civilian vehicle with explosives.
A 62-year-old man sustained serious injuries, including shrapnel wounds to the head, a concussion, and closed traumatic brain injury. Emergency medical services transported him to a hospital, where his condition is currently assessed as moderate.
Following the initial strike, the head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, reported that a drone of the “Molniya” type also struck a hospital in the same area. The attack caused damage to the building’s roof and shattered windows.
Prokudin stated, “Four hospital workers were injured in the attack: a 67-year-old man and three women aged 39, 42, and 51. They are receiving necessary medical care for their blast injuries.”
This incident follows a previous attack on April 13, where Russian forces targeted the Korabelny district of Kherson and nearby villages, resulting in the deaths of an 89-year-old woman and a man, with eight others injured.
