Residents of a high-rise building in the Obolon district of Kyiv extinguished a fire caused by debris from a downed drone, with no injuries reported.
According to the Kyiv police, the incident occurred during an air raid alert when parts of an enemy drone fell onto the roof of a 16-story residential building, igniting a fire. Fortunately, the quick actions of the residents prevented any casualties.
A local investigative team is currently on-site to document the aftermath of the attack and assess the damage caused by the drone debris.
This incident follows earlier reports from Timur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, confirming that debris from a Russian drone had fallen on the roof of a residential building in the same district.
