The Central Election Commission of Ukraine has officially registered Mykola Davidiuk as a Member of Parliament. This decision follows the submission of the necessary documents and application by Davidiuk.
During a recent meeting, the Commission reviewed the documentation provided by Davidiuk and confirmed his registration as a parliamentarian in accordance with current legislation. The decision was made after verifying the submitted materials and ensuring compliance with the legal procedures for parliamentary mandates.
Davidiuk was elected during the extraordinary parliamentary elections held on July 21, 2019, representing the political party Holos in the nationwide multi-member electoral district. He was listed as number 27 on the party’s electoral roster.
Despite his registration by the Central Election Commission, Davidiuk’s parliamentary powers will only take effect after he fulfills the constitutional requirements. He will officially assume his duties upon taking the oath in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, at which point he will gain all rights and responsibilities associated with the role.
Mykola Ivanovych Davidiuk is a Ukrainian political scientist and consultant, specializing in political analytics and electoral processes. He was born on July 18, 1988, in the village of Perespa, Volyn region.
Davidiuk obtained his higher education from the M.P. Dragomanov National Pedagogical University, majoring in Spanish language and foreign literature. He also completed an internship at Harvard University, which was a significant milestone in his academic career.
His professional journey in the political arena began in 2006 during the local elections in Kyiv. From 2008 to 2010, he worked as an analyst at the Committee of Voters of Ukraine, focusing on monitoring electoral processes and socio-political campaigns.
Since 2011, he has led the analytical center ‘Polityka’ and initiated the establishment of the ‘Forum of New Political Leaders.’
Since 2013, he has been a certified observer for the OSCE, participating in election monitoring in Georgia, Spain, and Kyrgyzstan. In 2019, he co-founded the socio-political movement ‘Act with Us’ alongside Mustafa Nayyem, and that same year, he served as a political technologist for the Holos party, securing a place on their electoral list.
