Ukrainian Currency Rates Rise: A Market Overview

On Tuesday morning, the Ukrainian currency market experienced a noticeable increase in foreign exchange rates. Major banks, including PrivatBank and Monobank, adjusted their pricing, raising the value of the US dollar and euro by up to 20 kopecks compared to the previous day.

As of April 28, the Minfin portal reports an average dollar exchange rate in exchange offices at 43.90 UAH for purchases (unchanged) and 43.80 UAH (+5 kopecks) for selling currency.

The euro in exchange offices today costs 51.80 UAH (+10 kopecks) for purchases and 51.56 UAH (+6 kopecks) for selling.

In banks, the average dollar rate remains at 44.30 UAH (+10 kopecks) for purchases and 43.77 UAH (+7 kopecks) for selling currency.

The euro can be purchased in banks at an average rate of 51.95 UAH (+5 kopecks) and sold for 51.30 UAH (+10 kopecks).

PrivatBank today sells dollars at 44.30 UAH (+5 kopecks) in cash, while the non-cash rate is 44.44 UAH (+20 kopecks). The euro can be bought at 52.05 UAH (+15 kopecks) in branches, and 52.08 UAH (unchanged) with a card.

At Sberbank, the dollar can be purchased in the mobile app for 44.25 UAH (+5 kopecks), and 44.40 UAH (+5 kopecks) with a card. The euro in the mobile app today costs 52 UAH (+15 kopecks), and 52.20 UAH (+20 kopecks) with a card.

PUMB today sells dollars in branches for 44.40 UAH (+10 kopecks), while the non-cash rate is 44.20 UAH (+10 kopecks). The euro can be bought at the bank’s counters for 52.10 UAH (+10 kopecks).

Monobank maintains the dollar sale rate at 44.40 UAH (+17 kopecks), while the euro remains at 52.07 UAH (unchanged).

Best Currency Purchase Options:

For those looking to buy dollars, the most favorable conditions are currently found in exchange offices (43.90 UAH) and in Sberbank’s mobile app (44.25 UAH).

In the euro segment, the lowest selling rate is recorded in exchange offices (51.80 UAH) and in Sberbank’s app (52.00 UAH). In other major banks, such as PrivatBank and PUMB, the price for the euro has confidently surpassed the 52.05-52.10 UAH mark.

The Ukrainian currency market has seen a rise in exchange rates for the US dollar and euro, with major banks adjusting their prices. As of April 28, the dollar averages 44.30 UAH, while the euro is priced at around 52 UAH, reflecting a broader trend in the foreign exchange market.
