Ukrainian defense forces have conducted extensive strikes against strategic military and energy sites in Russia and occupied territories. The attacks have reportedly focused on a major oil refinery in Yaroslavl, fuel depots, and air defense systems.
Military sources confirmed that Ukrainian forces successfully targeted the Yaroslavl Oil Refinery in Yaroslavl Oblast, igniting a fire following the explosions. This facility is vital to the Russian oil industry, with an annual capacity of approximately 15 million tons, making it crucial for the logistics of Russian military operations.
Additionally, a drone storage facility in Rostov-on-Don, the Luhansk Oil Depot, and fuel storage sites in Petropavlivka and Novomykilsk were also struck.
The military further reported damage to an enemy repair unit in Rovenky and several communication nodes in the areas of Zelenopillya, Novomykhailivka, and Kynski Rozdory.
Ukrainian forces also confirmed the destruction of a Tor-M2 surface-to-air missile system in Zaporizhzhia and a Kasta-2E radar station located in temporarily occupied Crimea.
Earlier strikes on Russian defense production facilities have also been validated. Notably, the buildings of the Y.M. Sverdlov Factory in Dzerzhinsk, known for producing explosives and equipping various types of aerial bombs, were hit.
Further reports indicate successful strikes on the GRAU arsenal in Kedrovka in Sverdlovsk Oblast and infrastructure at the Bryansk Chemical Plant in the city of Seltso.
Ukrainian defense forces have targeted significant military and energy installations in Russia, including an oil refinery and drone storage facilities. These strikes aim to disrupt logistics and operational capabilities of the Russian military.
