Ukraine faces significant challenges as Russia intensifies efforts to disrupt its relationships with several countries, according to recent statements from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Zelensky revealed that Ukraine’s military intelligence has obtained new internal Russian documents related to political strategies aimed at undermining Ukraine’s connections with Moldova, nations in the South Caucasus, the Middle East, and the Gulf region. He emphasized that limiting Ukraine’s security, economic, and strategic ties with these countries is a primary objective for Russia.
“This only confirms that both we in Ukraine and our partners are on the right path towards greater security and the continued strengthening of our sovereignty, as well as the complete neutralization of Russian influence,” Zelensky stated.
The president reiterated that achieving a just peace and ensuring security for Ukraine is contingent upon increasing international political and economic pressure on Russia, alongside further support from allies.
