Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced ongoing discussions aimed at strengthening the country’s defenses against Russian aerial bombardments. This initiative focuses on developing comprehensive strategies to counter the threat posed by Russian aircraft.
During a recent meeting of the National Security and Defense Council, Zelensky emphasized the importance of addressing the risks associated with Russian aerial bombs and protecting Ukrainian positions from such attacks. The discussions included a multifaceted approach that not only seeks to neutralize Russian aviation but also aims to enhance Ukraine’s long-range capabilities.

The president highlighted that all available technological developments and requests have been compiled to bolster national defense. He remarked, “We have gathered all accessible technological solutions and existing requests, and our next task is to determine what can and should be scaled up to defend against Russian aerial bombs, allowing Ukraine to respond effectively to this threat.”
Furthermore, Zelensky reaffirmed Ukraine’s commitment to advancing its technological capabilities in the defense sector without interruption. This includes expanding measures to counter aerial threats and establishing conditions for more effective protection.
He concluded by asserting that Ukraine possesses the necessary potential to achieve these objectives and to further strengthen its defensive capabilities.
