Drone Strikes Target Residential Areas in Odesa

On the night of April 24, Russian forces launched a significant drone attack on the Ukrainian city of Odesa, impacting residential neighborhoods and resulting in casualties and property damage.

Reports indicate that several residential buildings were struck, including two two-story homes and a three-story apartment block. Emergency services provided immediate assistance to two individuals at one location, while a woman was hospitalized following the attack; further details regarding the injured are still being confirmed.

Oleg Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, corroborated the attack and noted damage to civilian infrastructure. He reported that two people were injured, including a 72-year-old woman and a 52-year-old man, both of whom sustained shrapnel wounds. The woman was transported to a medical facility for treatment.

Additionally, damage was recorded at a non-residential building, and several other structures experienced shattered windows and damaged vehicles.

Emergency and municipal services are currently on-site, working to address the aftermath of the drone strikes.

The drone attack on Odesa resulted in injuries and significant damage to residential buildings. Emergency services are actively responding to the situation as investigations continue.
