The United Kingdom has announced plans to deliver 150,000 drones and additional defense equipment to Ukraine by the end of 2026. This commitment, valued at nearly $1 billion, was revealed by Defense Minister Dan Jarvis during a meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group on June 18.
Jarvis confirmed that the agreement includes the provision of over 350 anti-aircraft missiles and radar systems. The delivery of these items is part of a broader package worth £752 million, which will be funded through the sale of confiscated Russian assets under the ERA credit program.
The UK has pledged significant military support to Ukraine, including a vast number of drones and defense systems, as part of its ongoing commitment to bolster Ukraine's defense capabilities. This initiative highlights the UK's strategic partnership with Ukraine amid ongoing tensions in the region.
