Trump Plans Meeting with Ukraine’s Zelensky Amid Ongoing Conflict

U.S. President Donald Trump has announced plans to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to discuss the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

Trump emphasized the need for Russia to reach an agreement, noting the significant loss of life on both sides. “Listen, Russia has to make a deal. Russia has lost a tremendous number of people, as has Ukraine. Last month, they lost 35,000 soldiers between them. […] What is happening there is just madness,” he stated.

Additionally, Trump mentioned a conversation he had with Russian leader Vladimir Putin on Sunday, June 14. He remarked, “They continue to fight, losing soldiers. They are losing a lot of soldiers.”
