An artillery strike in central Kherson on Saturday led to the death of one man and injuries to ten others, according to local authorities. The attack occurred around 11:45 AM, as reported by the Kherson regional prosecutor’s office and regional military administration head Oleksandr Prokudin.
The artillery fire targeted a populated area, where civilians were present at the time. Among the injured were a 35-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman, both of whom were hospitalized in serious condition. Medical teams are currently working to stabilize their health.
As of 5:30 PM, the regional prosecutor’s office confirmed that the total number of casualties included one fatality and ten injuries, which included a 15-year-old boy. The attacks, attributed to Russian forces, involved both artillery and drone strikes throughout the day.
Earlier that morning, at approximately 7:00 AM, a drone strike targeted a minibus in the central district of Kherson, resulting in injuries to the driver. This incident underscores the ongoing risks faced by civilians in the region amidst the ongoing conflict.
