In recent months, Kyiv has ramped up its mobilization efforts, increasing the number of alert groups by 40%. This decision aligns with the ongoing need to enhance military readiness.
According to officials, daily orders are issued to establish and manage these alert groups, which are now operating at full capacity. Last year, the disbanding of security companies within the Territorial Recruitment Centers (TRC) led to the formation of a dedicated security platoon and an alert platoon, both of which have seen an increase in personnel.
Officials emphasized that TRC employees are acting in accordance with decree 560, which mandates that alerts be conducted in all public places, including public transportation and residential and workplace settings.
Additionally, ongoing search operations are being carried out in collaboration with the 13th Army Corps in Kyiv.
In related news, parliament is preparing to amend mobilization strategies. Lawmaker Fedir Venislavskyi announced that the new regulations will involve greater engagement of contract soldiers and a phased update of existing procedures. These changes are expected to be presented within the coming months.
Furthermore, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, assessed the current mobilization effectiveness, rating it between 6 and 7 out of 10.
