Russian Military Casualties Exceed Mobilization Capacity for Fifth Consecutive Month

In April, Ukrainian forces reported the destruction or severe wounding of 35,203 Russian soldiers, marking a significant trend in the ongoing conflict. This figure indicates that for five consecutive months, Russia has been losing more personnel than it can mobilize, leading to a gradual depletion of its military capabilities.

A Ukrainian official highlighted that the losses are documented through video evidence, emphasizing the urgency of the situation. The aim is to reach a level of casualties among Russian forces that would render any further advances impossible.

Additionally, Ukraine is reportedly enhancing its air defense systems. The use of interceptor drones has become integral to its air defense strategy, with 194 units confirming the downing of Shahed drones, achieving record interception rates.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky noted a marked increase in the effectiveness of long-range strikes, with incidents occurring at distances greater than 20 kilometers doubling since March and quadrupling since February.

Furthermore, President Zelensky underscored the importance of expanding robotic missions, revealing that over 10,200 logistical and evacuation tasks were conducted in April alone.

Recent reports indicate that Russian military losses have outpaced its mobilization efforts for five months, with April seeing over 35,000 casualties. Ukraine continues to enhance its defense capabilities and increase the effectiveness of its military operations.
