Ukrainian President Discusses Cabinet Restructuring with Prime Minister

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky recently met with Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko to address upcoming changes within the Cabinet of Ministers.

Zelensky confirmed that discussions regarding the strengthening of government structures are currently underway. He stated, “We discussed the schedule for planned enhancements to government structures: there are personnel matters that require resolution. Some appointments will need further dialogue with parliament members. We have agreed to address certain personnel issues at the Cabinet level next week.”

Other positions may require approval from lawmakers.

The meeting also focused on two main topics: financial support for Ukraine from international partners and the anticipated government changes. The participants coordinated their positions for negotiations with these partners, emphasizing the importance of implementing previously agreed-upon support packages. Zelensky remarked, “It is crucial that each support package announced is executed precisely when it is truly needed.”
