According to the leaked documents, the device’s thickness when folded is projected to be just 9.4 mm, a notable reduction from previous estimates of 11 mm.
This slim profile positions the iPhone Fold among the thinnest foldable devices available, comparable to offerings from Samsung and Honor, and only slightly thicker than the iPhone 17 Pro.
When unfolded, the chassis is expected to measure approximately 4.7 mm in thickness. However, the overall profile of the device will be affected by a prominent camera block, which could increase the maximum thickness to 13.9 mm.
