The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has released updated information regarding recent military operations targeting Russian defense installations. Notably, strikes were conducted on the “Atlant Aero” facility in Taganrog and a patrol ship in Crimea.
On April 19, 2026, Ukrainian forces employed Neptune cruise missiles to strike the “Atlant Aero” facility, which is located in Rostov Oblast, Russia. The General Staff confirmed that two production buildings were destroyed, while four others sustained damage.
The “Atlant Aero” facility is significant as it is involved in the full cycle of design, manufacturing, and testing of strike reconnaissance drones, specifically the “Molniya” type, along with components for the “Orion” drones.
In a separate incident, on April 22, Ukrainian forces targeted a patrol ship belonging to the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) in Sevastopol, Crimea. The strike resulted in damage to the ship’s combat bridge.
These operations are part of a broader strategy by Ukrainian defense forces to target critical military infrastructure in both occupied territories and within Russia. The strikes on April 19 were part of a coordinated effort to undermine the capabilities of Russian military forces in the region.
Recent strikes by Ukrainian forces have targeted key Russian defense facilities, including the "Atlant Aero" in Taganrog and a patrol ship in Crimea. These operations aim to disrupt Russian military capabilities in occupied territories and beyond.
