Dollar Gains Ground as Euro Declines in Ukrainian Currency Market

The Ukrainian currency market opened with a slight increase in the value of the dollar and a decrease in the euro’s worth. The dollar has shown stable growth, rising by 5 to 10 kopecks, while the euro has lost ground across major banks.

Key Trends:

  • Bank Rates: The average selling price of the dollar in bank cash offices is set at 44.16 UAH.
  • Digital Adjustments: PrivatBank and Oschadbank have significantly reduced the euro exchange rate for card transactions by 27 kopecks.
  • Cash Exchange Rates: In the cash market, the dollar is being accepted at an average rate of 43.78 UAH.

According to Minfin, as of the morning of April 24, the average dollar exchange rate in exchange offices stands at 43.90 UAH for purchase (up by 5 kopecks). The selling rate is 43.78 UAH (also up by 5 kopecks).

The euro can be purchased at an average rate of 51.60 UAH (down by 10 kopecks), while the selling rate remains unchanged at 51.40 UAH.

Bank Exchange Rates:

Today, the average dollar exchange rate in banks is 44.16 UAH (up by 1 kopeck for purchase) and 43.67 UAH (up by 2 kopecks for selling).

The euro is priced at 51.85 UAH (down by 10 kopecks for purchase) and 51.20 UAH (down by 10 kopecks for selling).

PrivatBank offers dollars at 44.15 UAH (unchanged) in branches and 44.24 UAH (unchanged) for non-cash transactions. The euro can be bought in cash for 51.70 UAH (down by 20 kopecks) and 51.81 UAH (down by 27 kopecks) for card transactions.

Oschadbank sells dollars at 44.15 UAH (unchanged) via its mobile app and 44.30 UAH (unchanged) for card transactions. The euro is available for purchase at 51.80 UAH (down by 20 kopecks) and 52 UAH (down by 12 kopecks) for card transactions.

At PUMB, the dollar is priced at 44.30 UAH (down by 10 kopecks) for cash and 44.10 UAH (up by 10 kopecks) for non-cash. The euro remains at 52 UAH in cash.

Monobank lists the dollar at 44.23 UAH, while the euro is priced at 51.81 UAH (down by 16 kopecks).
