The attack involved a significant number of aerial threats, with Russia launching hundreds of drones and missiles against Ukraine. The effects of this assault were reported across nine regions: Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kyiv, Zaporizhia, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Kharkiv, Sumy, and Poltava.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, the aggressor nation deployed a total of 703 aerial attack units within a single day, which included 44 missiles and 659 drones. The assault unfolded in two waves, during which Ukrainian air defense forces successfully destroyed or neutralized 667 of the incoming aerial threats.
Notably, this attack featured a significant use of ballistic missiles, with 19 Iskander-M/S-400 missiles fired across four regions.
