Russian Strikes Hit Bohodukhiv, Injuring Multiple Civilians

Russian military forces conducted an attack on the city of Bohodukhiv in the Kharkiv region, resulting in injuries to at least 12 individuals, several of whom required hospitalization due to blast injuries.

The initial reports indicated that a 66-year-old man and a 68-year-old woman were among those hospitalized with serious injuries. Additionally, a 48-year-old man and a 49-year-old woman experienced acute stress reactions and received medical assistance.

As the situation unfolded, the number of injured increased. Medical personnel transported a 36-year-old, a 47-year-old, and a 53-year-old man, along with a 33-year-old woman, to the hospital for treatment of blast-related injuries.

Later, a 48-year-old woman was also hospitalized. On-site medical assistance was provided to a 28-year-old man, a 51-year-old woman, and a 24-year-old man, all of whom were assessed to have injuries of moderate severity.

The attack caused damage to 15 vehicles and shattered windows in a residential building. Emergency services are currently on the scene to address the aftermath of the strike.

This incident follows a combined assault by Russian forces on the night of May 24, which involved ballistic missiles and drone strikes targeting Kyiv and several surrounding regions, including Kyiv, Cherkasy, and Poltava.

The European Union has characterized this attack as indicative of desperation from the Kremlin and has announced plans for additional support aimed at strengthening Ukraine’s air defense capabilities.

The recent Russian strike on Bohodukhiv has resulted in multiple injuries and significant property damage, highlighting ongoing military tensions in the region. Emergency services are actively responding to the aftermath as international reactions continue to unfold.
