The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has enacted a decision from the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) to impose sanctions against Russian entities involved in military production, evading sanctions, and conducting illegal business in temporarily occupied territories. This measure specifically targets those associated with the construction of the Kerch Bridge.
According to the presidential press service, the sanctions are outlined in decrees numbered 294/2026 and 295/2026. The sanctions package includes 26 individuals and 31 legal entities, comprising companies that manufacture underwater, surface, and aerial unmanned robotic systems, along with their associated software.
The list also encompasses firms that produce and service various types of weaponry, including electronic warfare systems, air defense systems, armored vehicles, submarines, ships, auxiliary vessels, port equipment, and their components.
Additionally, the sanctions extend to companies within the aviation sector that produce and repair components for helicopters, particularly those from the Mi-8, Mi-17, Mi-171, Mi-172, and Mi-14 families.
Furthermore, the sanctions target seven individuals and 11 legal entities, including companies and their executives who facilitate the circumvention of sanctions. This group includes manufacturers of components for missiles such as the X-101, X-59M2/M2A, and Iskander-K, as well as businesses operating illegally in the temporarily occupied territories and involved in the construction of the Crimean Bridge.
