Currency Exchange Rates in Ukraine: Recent Trends and Changes

As the currency exchange market in Ukraine stabilizes, significant adjustments have been observed in the rates offered by major banks. Notably, the euro has decreased in value at Oschadbank, dropping by 10 kopecks.

  • Cash Market: In exchange offices, the dollar has increased slightly by 1-2 kopecks, now priced at 43.16 UAH, while the euro has fallen to 51.45 UAH.
  • PrivatBank: The selling rate for the dollar has risen to 43.29 UAH. The euro remains stable at 51.40 UAH.
  • Oschadbank: The dollar rate remains unchanged at 43.35 UAH, but the euro has seen a notable decrease of 10 kopecks across all metrics.

According to the Minfin portal, the average exchange rate for the dollar on February 13 stands at 43.16 UAH for purchases (up by 1 kopeck) and 43.07 UAH for sales (up by 2 kopecks).

The average rate for the euro today is 51.45 UAH (down by 7 kopecks) for purchases, while the selling rate is 51.29 UAH (up by 4 kopecks).

At PrivatBank, the dollar is being sold at 43.29 UAH (up by 7 kopecks) in branches, while the card rate remains unchanged. Customers can sell dollars in branches for 42.69 UAH (up by 5 kopecks) and 42.84 UAH (up by 7 kopecks) for non-cash transactions.

The euro rate at PrivatBank is set at 51.40 UAH (down by 1 kopeck) for purchases in branches, and for card transactions, it remains at 51.54 UAH. Customers can sell euros in branches for 50.40 UAH (up by 1 kopeck) and 50.78 UAH (up by 6 kopecks) for non-cash transactions.

At Oschadbank, the dollar remains at yesterday’s level, with a purchase price of 43.35 UAH and a selling price of 42.80 UAH. For non-cash transactions, the dollar can be purchased at 43.40 UAH and sold for 42.85 UAH.

The euro has decreased by 10 kopecks across all rates at Oschadbank. The selling price for euros in branches and for non-cash transactions is now 50.90 UAH (down by 10 kopecks). The purchase price in branches is 51.60 UAH (down by 10 kopecks), while the non-cash purchase rate is 51.70 UAH (down by 10 kopecks).
