Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has indicated that dissatisfaction among the Russian populace towards President Vladimir Putin is expected to increase, with projections suggesting this trend will continue until the upcoming parliamentary elections in Russia, scheduled for September.
In a statement shared via Telegram on June 14, Zelensky referenced insights from Ukrainian intelligence reports regarding the internal dynamics within Russia. He emphasized that these reports suggest a growing unease among Russians regarding their leadership.
“Our intelligence has provided assessments of the current situation in Russia, along with documents that reach the Kremlin. We understand that Putin is seldom presented with completely accurate information. However, even the materials he receives allow for certain conclusions to be drawn,” Zelensky noted.
