Weather Forecast: Rain and Thunderstorms Expected Across Ukraine

On June 12, Ukraine is set to experience rain, thunderstorms, and possible hail, with temperatures dropping to between 19°C and 24°C in most regions on June 13.

According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, significant rain is anticipated overnight in the western regions, transitioning to moderate rainfall during the day. Nighttime temperatures will range from 9°C to 14°C, while daytime highs will be between 15°C and 20°C.

Elsewhere in the country, dry conditions are expected overnight, but moderate rain is forecast for the daytime. Regions such as Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Vinnytsia, and Odesa will see heavier rainfall, along with thunderstorms and gusty winds reaching speeds of 15-20 m/s in some areas.

In these regions, nighttime temperatures will be between 13°C and 18°C, with daytime highs ranging from 24°C to 29°C. However, Zhytomyr and Vinnytsia will be cooler, with daytime temperatures only reaching 17°C to 22°C.

In Kyiv, no precipitation is expected overnight, but significant rain and thunderstorms are predicted for the day, with nighttime temperatures between 16°C and 18°C and daytime highs of 26°C to 28°C.

Looking ahead to Saturday, brief rain and thunderstorms are likely overnight in much of the northern and central regions, while daytime precipitation is expected in the Left Bank and western parts of the country. The rest of Ukraine will remain largely dry.

Nighttime temperatures on Saturday will be between 9°C and 14°C, with daytime highs reaching 19°C to 24°C. In the eastern and southeastern regions, temperatures may rise to 24°C to 29°C.

In the capital, a brief shower may occur overnight, but the day is expected to be dry, with nighttime temperatures of 12°C to 14°C and daytime highs of 19°C to 21°C.

Ukraine is bracing for rain and thunderstorms on June 12, with a notable temperature drop expected the following day. Significant rainfall is forecasted in several regions, including Kyiv, Zhytomyr, and Odesa, along with possible hail and strong winds.
